UNIVERSITY OF DELAWARE ROSELLE CENTER FOR THE ARTS

PUGLISI ORCHESTRA REHEARSAL HALL

Newark, Delaware

This large orchestra rehearsal/performance room was designed for the University's School of Music, as a first step in their desire for a larger concert hall, and to provide much needed rehearsal and practice spaces. The Puglisi Orchestra Hall was designed with 300 retractable seats, and enough area to house a 75-person orchestra, and full choir.

The room was also designed with enough acoustic volume, and adjustable acoustics, so that it could also serve as a rehearsal space for the University's marching band when they aren't able to practice on the field.

The additional music spaces in the 90,000 square foot arts center also include the 200-seat Gore Recital Hall, and 31 practice rooms.

Michael Ferguson performed theatre consulting services as individual effort while at a previous firm.
