KIMMEL CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS
ZZ-NOT USED-----VERIZON CONCERT HALL
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
The Kimmel's 2,500-seat Verizon Hall was inspired by the cello, and the curved geometry of the room and wood finishes resemble the shape and texture of the instrument. The intimate hall wraps the audience around the stage on three tiers of 360-degree balconies, creating an intimate and undiluted connection between performers and spectators. The hall is an ideal space for orchestral music as well as touring groups and other events.
