KANBAR AUDITORIUM

Studzinski Recital Hall and the Kanbar Auditorium is a key part of the music program and the arts at Bowdoin College.

A former swimming pool, the renovation is a striking adaptive reuse of an existing facility. With a sunken platform, seating to the side and rear, the vineyard style configuration allows students and audiences experience the music, as if they were on the stage.

The facility also has nine individual practice rooms, a rehearsal room, green room, lobby areas, and a state-of-the-art recording studio.
