NORTHERN STAGE

BARRETTE CENTER FOR THE ARTS

White River Junction, Vermont

The Barrette Center for the Arts is a 17,000 square foot facility built for a LORT-D professional theatre company, Northern Stage. The complex houses a 240-seat thrust theatre which provides an intimate performance experience, with no seat farther than 8 rows from the stage front.

The building was designed and built utilizing a pre-engineered steel building, keeping the costs low ($9M USD) and allowing the design and construction to be completed in less than two years.

Benton Delinger performed theatre consulting services as individual effort while at a previous firm.
